This week's Binspi is a truly special one for me. As it reflects so many feelings within.

Weekly Binspi #3
"A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step." - Lao-Tze
First of all I really love this quote. :) I find it absolutely inspiring. Lao-Tze really got it right back then... Probably he liked walking, too :)

Second, it's been a month now that BinspiratioNZ is up and running on the World Wide Web :) and thanks to you all, it received over 3200 hits already!!! It makes me feel super happy, excited and even more inspired to share more with you :)

Third, it reflects my plunge into a REAL REAL journey - step by step. A journey of discovering the most amazing place in the world - a true little gem in this globe, amazing beaches, breathtaking nature, sunrises/sunsets, friendly people and... yes, one of the most interesting and yet toughest of all, a little bit more... about myself.
My strengths, my weaknesses. What makes me happy, content, relaxed, and what makes me sad, frustrated, depressed. Why. What I am used to doing and what I really enjoy doing. Everyone has good and bad moments. Just many of us do not like to admit it. Sometimes hate to admit it. I didn't like acknowledging it for many many years either... Probably it is related to pressure. From others. From yourself. Or comparing. Trying to better. For others and for yourself. It is just more comfortable and way easier to shake off problems and pass by, putting on that glittering big smile and pretending everything is perfect. Because that is what people expect.

We all like to hear good news. We all like to get energized. We often need happy and inspiring people around to feel better. Even though hearing a successful story makes us sometimes feel very down - that comparison again, why can he/she do it and not me...

It is not fun to hang out with a sad person or a depressed one. The one that keeps complaining. The one you cannot suck off any energy. Especially when YOU and you only need that extra positive energy for yourself. Because we are all selfish in a way. Tough to admit, but deep inside you feel a bit what I mean, right?  There is no such a thing like perfect. Welcome to the real world. And that is ok. We can still enjoy life as it is - big time!

Wow! Stepping out of your comfort zone can be really challenging, right? Makes you think too much :)

These past few months were a real life changer for me! It is not just about moving and all the preparations that come along with it. It is not only moving to the "end of the world" where oceans and continents separate us from family and friends. It is also becoming a mum and "stopping" to work (at least for now) - a huge change in my usual everyday routine. A lot of self-discoveries in itself. And it is also seizing THE moment to follow our dreams with my amazing hubby to move to New Zealand.

Little and big steps, much of a happening, even more of a thinking at the same time. One after the other. And all starts with that single step...

Why don't you allow yourself a small little step today? Maybe you will discover something interesting. Something different. Something inspiring? :)

Dedicated to my amazing husband.
